Inebriate

\in-EE-bree-eyt\ means always drunk
..........exhilarate: fill with sublime emotion
...............souse: become drunk or drink excessively
...................intoxicate: make drunk with alcoholic drinks
.......................drunkard: a chronic drinker

Example1. I feel inebriated at the idea of going abroad and studying there.
Example2. There are really some people, mostly men, who like to inebriate themselves on every occasion they find themselves in.

We had a neighbor before who used to get drunk and was fond of shouting on the road while heading home. There were times too when he used to throw stones at neighbors' houses whenever he felt like doing so. That was very bad of him.
