Lagniappe

\lan-YAP; LAN-yap\ means a small gift especially given by a merchant to a customer who makes a purchase.
...........a gratuity or tip

One good example of a lagniappe is when a customer buys a hundred of coconuts and the merchant or the owner gives the customer 5 coconuts more as a gift for purchasing that much. This is often observed in a situation when the customer is a regular one.
