Nunatak

\NUHN-uh-tak\ means a hill or a mountain of rock surrounded by ice; an island in a sea of ice.

Note: Nunataks are found in Greenland.

Example: A nunatak of 250 feet high may not be difficult to climb for a fugitive like Dr. Jennings.

I could no longer remember in which movie I saw nunataks but I think I have seen some. Whew! I am very forgetful these days.
